Choose our cottage to rent near Le Mans in the beautiful Sarthe region and you can enjoy rural calm, wonderful wildlife and spectacular medieval cities, towns and villages. AND you are conveniently placed to access the Le Mans motor racing circuit for the Le Mans 24hr race, Le Mans Classic 2010 and Le Mans Moto.

This rental accomodation provides three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a modern kitchen diner, extensive grounds and rural views.

We love to relax in the sun with a glass of wine & some local cheese and soak up the view and rural tranquility. With a market on each day of the week in one of the nearby towns, Fresnay Sur Sarthe, Conlie, Le Mans, Beaumont Sur Sarthe and others,  there is plenty of opportunity to buy the freshest local produce for your meals.

Take a day to travel the hour or so to the Loire Valley and its chateaux & wineries, somewhat closer is the smaller-scale, though no less beautiful, Loir Valley.

For those who enjoy more energetic pastimes there are well marked and documented walks (randonee) and cycle ways. Leaflets for these are kept in the cottage and new ones can be picked up at the tourist information in Beaumont Sur Sarthe. There is a choice of swimming venues; indoor pool at Alencon, outdoor pool at Fresnay Sur Sarthe and lake with lifeguarded beach at Sille Le Guilaume - all within a half-hour drive. Further choice of lakes and pools is within easy reach. Tennis, golf and pony trekking are all nearby too at Fresnay, Le Mans and Sille.
